Verl Smith Racing for Vets SHOW at VA Nursing Care Unit Vancouver, WAOn August 20th, Verl Smith and friends will be at the VA Show from 9 am till 11 am at The VA Nursing Care Unit, 1501 E 4th Plain Blvd in Vancouver, WA. Teams and friends so far committed to attend the Vancouver show will be members of VETERANS MOTORCYCLE Club, and Sue Weiler of Oak Grove Choppers and Rick Green (AHDRA road representative) and of course, Verl “Smitty” Smith coming off his win in the Cutters Foam/Nila Racing Pro Street division at the Rally at Sturgis, SD. Coordinating this effort from the VA Nursing Care Unit in Vancouver is John Vazquez. He has a great support staff who help the patients get out for this show and they love it. Smitty has been creating a bike show prior to each national AHDRA drag race event at regional VA hospitals and homes. He takes with him not only a few hours of time to visit but some of the technical jargon appreciated by the Vets and, of course, Smitty and friends bring their show stopping, quick paced, award winning Harley-Davidson drag race motorcycles.
