Moore Wins with Family & Friends
On June 28 & 29th, the Northeast Nationals were Presented by Horne Concrete Construction & Structural Concrete at the Cecil County Dragway - Rising Sun, MD.

First round of pro-fuel eliminations was against Andy Baumbach. The team was optimistic because of lane choice. But, the bike was unable to fire at the line, so Baumbach broke the beam to advance. Banky Racing's pro-gas bike was again paired up with Karen Wagner. The electrical system continued to be problematic, and their 8.82 wasn't up to the challenge. Then there was good ol' reliable - Mid-Continent's championship pro-dragster. First round eliminations was won by breaking the beam since Darrell Rice checked-in broke. The final round was a bitter-sweet win against friends, Curly Jim and Kim Fontaine. Moore ran a 7.82 @ 172 mph - getting the team, family, and friends to pose for a memorable photo in victory circle.
Special thanks to:
" Mike and Jody for providing the equipment and means to contend for another championship season;
" Phil Mell for crewing this weekend on the pro-fuel bike, and Dave Larson for his work on the pro-dragster;
" Bob & Ed Banky for a great pro gas bike; Tommy and Jimmy for crewing;
" Riki, Emily, and the entire family - for all your love and support.
Moore dedicated this win to the team's mechanic, friend - Aaron Nottestad. He will always be remembered.
