The Haltech World Finals will take place at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Florida 8-10 th of November and an exciting trio from Europe will be on the startline. For the first time the Americans will be able to experience the worlds fastest Rocket Bike when Eric Teboul from France will launch his hydrogen peroxide powered Rocket Bike down the quartermile. Eric has run an incredible personal best of 5,19 seconds and 281 mph and will try to reset his own record in Florida! Next one up from overseas is the worlds fastest Top Fuel Bike rider and two time European Champion Peter Svensson from Sweden who will make an American comeback after his Thunder Nationals event Title at Indianapolis in 1998. Team Starta Racing has recorded the worlds quickest TFB pass with 5,709 seconds at the Tierp Arena track in August 2012. Svensson will be making two testruns during the Southern Nostalgia & Muscle Car event at the Bradenton track 2-3 November and then looks forward to meet the American racers under the same conditions at the same racetrack.

The third European competitor is Swedens Per Bengtsson, four time European Super Twin Bike Champion and current speed record holder (223,70 mph) on his famous parallel twin the Beast. Per and the Beast Drag Bike team was no 3 qualifayer during last years Haltech World Finals at Valdosta Dragway in Georgia and is very much looking forward to come back and meet the best in the business.

All three raceteams will ship the equipment and bikes together in a container that will be send from Bengtssons headquarter Flexoart in Sweden in a couple of weeks and to reach Bradenton Motorsports Park at the end of October. Team Starta Racing with Sören and Peter Svensson started this project some months ago and the result is the worlds fastest container in cooperation with DHL Global Logistics on it´s way to Florida to compete against the best dragbike teams in the US.

If you´re able to visit the Haltech World Finals at Bradenton we are sure that dragracing history will be made when Europe challenges America.
