Comunal’s Nitromaniacs at Thunder in the Valley, Bristol, TN

Bartonsville, PA: Dean Comunal’s Nitromaniacs continue to maintain their consistency, please the crowds and move up in points. This weekend at the AHDRA Rush Thunder in the Valley Nationals presented by Smith Brothers Harley-Davidson Comunal qualified #6 with 6.624 seconds in the ¼ mile at 215.54 mph.

The Nitromaniac’s had made a couple of exhibition passes with DJ Johnson and Tak SHIGEMATSU at Englishtown, NJ’s, Old Bridge Township Raceway Park during the Jet Car Nationals on Weds. night prior to the AHDRA Thunder in the Valley Nationals. According to Dean, “we love to race, and showing off at Englishtown is great, it’s only a couple hours from the house and a HUGE crowd. We appreciate DJ getting us that opportunity. At Bristol we had some clutch problems in the first round of competition, but went back out for the Barnett Nitro Outlaw class and were runner up to Mark Conner of EDGE racing."

The Nitromaniacs will next attend Hannum’s Harley-Davidson Top Fuel World Championship this Sunday August 17th, 2008 at Harley Day at Atco Raceway. Gates Open 8am, Racer & Spectator Admission $20, Kids Under 12 are Free Check out-- http://www.hannumshd.com/
